"If I were asked to comment about my work with Maura, I would say that it was truly an internally as well as an externally transformative experience. Maura came to our home as a birthday present from my husband. I told him I wanted to learn more about Feng Shui, and had heard about her work through a friend. What immediately impressed me about Maura was how accessible she made the concepts through visual and verbal explanation, that you just cant find in reading a text about this amazing philosophy of living. She took us on a tour of our own home, and made me feel like I was being transported to a place I had never been before. It was exciting to see where we could improve the energy in our space and make it work us. Working with Maura helped us fall in love with our home all over again. "We were very pleased with the visual changes to our home, which would have been enough for us, but we were interested in how these changes could really help us manifest a deeper connection to our spiritual innermost selves. This change happened in the most profound way for us, and of course it happened in our most private of spaces, our bedroom. While working with us Maura encouraged us to make our bedroom softer and more romantic using pillows and a throw we had in another space in our home. She also encouraged us to fill the space with pictures of us (as a couple) and with plant life, flowers that would symbolize fertility and growth, as we had shared with her our struggles with infertility. As we had decided to end treatment and move forward without children, my husband took Maura's advice and bought a beautiful orchid for the bedroom which I came home to find at the bedside. One thing led to another, and 10 months later our beautiful daughter Solace arrived! To this day, I tell Maura that she was responsible, but she denies being at the scene of the conception!
